Baltic porters are smooth, a little roasty, and full of flavor, just like the English porters you know and love. But with a bit more alcohol, they can be strong enough to squish a party of adventurers in a single round. We hope this kit finds a middle ground - maybe should have called it "Total Party Buzz"?
A long overdue addition to our lineup of dark beers and another of our beer kits inspired by the world's greatest table top role-playing game!
(Baltic porters are traditionally lagered, but this kit can be fermented as an ale.)
Color: 27.5 SRM | IBU: 32 | ABV: 8.5%
Extract kits include liquid and/or dry malt extract, plus crushed specialty grains with a grain sock to steep. Partial mash kits include malt extract, plus a larger amount of crushed base malt and specialty grains with a grain sock, and require extra steeping time. All-grain kits include crushed base malt and specialty grains, and require advanced technique and equipment.
All kits also include:
• Hops
• Bottle caps and priming sugar
• Whirlfloc tablet or Irish moss
• Spices and/or other additives (if applicable)
• Yeast (you choose dry yeast, liquid yeast, or not yeast)
