Homebrewing 201: Intro to Partial Mash - Thursday 23 June 2016 - 5pm
PLEASE NOTE! This is an in-store event happening at Central Street Farmhouse on Thursday, 23 June 2016 from 5-8pm.
$40 gets you AND a friend into the event, along with a take-home 6-pack of homebrewed beers; $55 adds the locally made wooden 6-pack holder. Space is limited and this class will sell out, so book your spot ASAP!
Have you brewed a few batches of beer and you're looking to up your game? Have you never brewed beer before and want to get started? Or heck, maybe you have no intentions of brewing your own beer, but this just kinda sounds like a good way to spend a few hours -- and you get to take home beer to impress your friends nonetheless!
Learn how to brew your own craft-brew-quality beer at home, using minimal equipment and good ol' quality ingredients. The partial mash brewing method is a "happy medium" between the worlds of amateur homebrewing and commercial brewing -- and it can also save you some moola in the long run!
Tap into the knowledge of our staff, who will walk you through the 3-hour brewing process, covering everything from mashing, hop additions, wort chilling, aeration, proper yeast pitch rates, fermentation, priming, bottling, and lots more. Oh, and drink from our keg of life! Sure, why not, we'll provide some food and beverage samples of the Farmhouse-produced variety.
And if that's not enough, you will also take home a 6-pack of beer specially brewed for you (it might be the same beer we're making that night...but we are not sure yet -- you think we plan these things?!). For an extra $15, you can take your beer home in a locally made wooden 6-pack holder that you will probably use for the rest of your life.
